Creating a Repository Using the Oracle Business Intelligence Administration Tool

can't get graphical mode: This resolved it:

My sysadmin seems to have identified 3 32 bit X related libraries that were missing in the initial Red Hat installation:

libXmu
libXp
libXtst

Set logging Level:

Manage->Security->Users on left, ->Double click user on right->Set logging level- Log level 2

Make Repository File available online

1. Shutdown presentation and BI Server and Java Host

2. Edit: C:\OracleBI\server\Config\NWSConfig.INI

3, Verify the rpd file name. The repository file is located in C:\OracleBI\server\Repository

Add the repository file to the following line to NWSConfig.INI

[ REPOSITORY ]

Star = samplesales.rpd, DEFAULT;
Star = paint.rpd, DEFAULT;

Verify the rpd file name. The repository file is located in C:\OracleBI\server\Repository

User ODBC to verify Repository
